"Excellent food. Cocos with lamb was the best we tasted I. Tunisia. Bbq fish was very good also. Has outside seating as well as inside. I loved the bread. Quite unique. Price is reasonable with less than a 100 TD for two. Did not like the tea, too sweet for me. Ordered. Caesar salad and got salad with Tuna and manufactured cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and walnuts (strange mix) was not bad, but not very appetizing"

"Busy restaurant close to the Great Mosque of Kairouan. I had a lovely and tasty lamb cous-cous, and the starters and Caesar salad were really good too! Nice atmosphere and decoration."

"Located at the top the medieval city walls, this restaurant is a cultural statement. Inner space is rather small but well decorated and traditionally themed. The terrace is big and breezy, and it has a nice city view. The downside of its unique location, however, is that there is no wheelchair access to the restaurant. Another issue is that only one toilet is available for both ladies and gents. The food is fine for the price--and olive oil is of good quality. Service is good on the whole, though nothing is exceptional. This is a fairly good address in the Medina of Kairouan for visitors with no special accessibility needs."
